Launching Point met the folks of Break The Chains in the summer of 2018 at the Creation Music Festival. They all have such a heart for those struggling with addiction and we attended their festival in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania called Break The Chains Festival. Since that time we have stayed connected and want to share all that they do, so if you are in the area you can reach out to them.
It all started with a Break The Chains Festival in the summer of 2017. It began as a community outreach focused on drug/alcohol abuse, suicide, self harm, depression awareness/prevention. Their second festival was in August of 2018 and on August 30 & 31 in 2019 will be their 3rd annual festival!
Break The Chains Coalition would love for you to be part of the festival or if you need help or resources, reach out to them.
Our goal at Break The Chains Coalition is to reach out to our communities to ultimately break the chains of addiction, oppression, and depression. We want to bring light, hope and love to the broken, the hopeless, the addicted and the depressed. Our prayer is to see our culture changed, captives set free, and lives transformed into who God created them to be...WHOLE and LOVED.
