We offer You Are Not Alone (YANA), a support group for those who live with any type of body-focused repetitive behavior (BFRB). This is a very supportive group with other men and women that are struggling with skin picking, hair pulling and other body-focused behaviors.
At each meeting we will have encouraging literature and resources available to help you with impulses and also information for loved ones trying to understand.
Light refreshments served.
We offer Y.A.N.A. on the 3rd Thursday of every month and when needed. Our meeting attendance varies from 2 to 8 people. The meeting takes place at Launching Point in Suite 101E, the Sunshine Room. The next 2 support group meetings are on:
The YANA support group is led by peer leader and assistant at Launching Point, Elaina Wood.
Elaina has battled with BFRB's most of her life and shares experience in a safe and welcoming environment.
The YANA support group takes place once monthly and as needed.
